Day 1: Drive to Darband (1800m); trek to Shirpala Hut at (2750m), Acclimatization.

Day 2: Trek to Tochal Summit (3964m); Descend to Darband.

Tochal Trekking Tour Detailed Itinerary

Day 1      Trek to Shirpala Hut (2750m), Acclimatization

Today at 12:00 we drive from Alibabatrek’s Office to “Darband” (approx. 20 minutes) located at the feet of Mount Tochal at the north end of Tehran, we go to the Restaurant and have lunch, having some rest at a cozy atmosphere of Darband, in the afternoon we start Tochal trekking tour and trek up to the Shirpala Hut of Mount Tochal at 2750m (approx. 3 hour), we have a short acclimatization trek up to 3200m, descend to the hut, have dinner, overnight Shirpala Hut.

Day 2      Summit day of Mount Tochal (3961m)  

Today is the summit day of Tochal Peak, after having breakfast at 6:00 we continue Tochal route and start trekking from Shirpala Hut (approx. 4-5 hours to Tochal peak), enjoy the great view of the city of Tehran from the top (depending on the weather condition not to be cloudy!), next we descend to Shirpala Hut (approx. 2-3 hours), have a delicious lunch with some melon or watermelon, having rest for a while we leave Shirpala hut in the afternoon, descend to Darband (approx. 3-4 hours), having a tea or a coffee and some rest, we head to the office, we have dinner and that’s the end of Tochal trekking tour.
