Mysterious dez island Detailed Itinerary

Day 1       Tehran / Dezful

Today we go to Dezful by train or bus. We meet at the office in the afternoon by 15:00, we go to Tehran’s South Bus Terminal or Train Station (depends on the availability), buses normally leave at 19:30 and trains at 20:00, we head towards the southwestern part of Iran, Khuzestan Province. We have dinner on the way and we arrive at Dezful early in the morning, overnight the bus or train.

Day 2       Dezful / Dez Island

Today we arrive in Dezful early in the morning, we drive to Dez River then have breakfast next to the river in the historical city of Dezful. Next, we drive to Pamenar for 1 hour, which is 30km in the north. In Pamenar, we are greeted by our boatmen who give us ride with boats to the island. We camp on the island, have dinner, overnight the island in tents!

Day 3       Dez Island

Today after having breakfast we spend all the day exploring this virgin island, swimming in the clear blue water, and even jump from high cliffs into the water and other water recreations like boating if you’re up to it, overnight the island in tents.

Day 4       Dez Island

Today we continue relaxing on the island, exploring the beautiful area and enjoying the stunning scenery, we will have lots of fun together on the Island, overnight the island in tents

Day 5       Dezful

After having our final breakfast on the island, we leave the island by boats, we drive back to Dezful, we have lunch at a local restaurant, the second best Falafels in Iran in a local Falafel place, then in the afternoon we drive back to the bus terminal or train station to head back to Tehran, we have dinner on the way to Tehran and, overnight the bus or train, we arrive at Tehran early in the morning.

Day 6       Tehran

Today we arrive at Tehran in the morning, after having breakfast we drive to the office, we say goodbye at the office around noon.
