Ski By Ancient Persia Itinerary

Day 1          Tehran

Arrival in Tehran; you will be welcomed by our agents at Imam Khomeini International Airport, transferred to the hotel to revitalize; sight visit of Tehran will be scheduled according to your arrival time; overnight Tehran at the hotel.

Day 2           Tochal Ski Resort

A full day of skiing in Tochal Ski Resort; after having breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 we drive of about half an hour to Tochal Ski Resort, one of the highest Ski Resort all over the world, located in the north of Tehran close to the Tochal Peak at 3700m, we will be transferred from the parking to the resort by Gondola lifts and we will enjoy skiing until 15:00, the evening will be spent on your own enjoying a warm shower at Tochal hotel and rest, have dinner, overnight Tochal hotel

Day 3         Tochal Ski Resort

A full day of skiing In Iran in Tochal Ski Resort; After having breakfast at 8:00 we go skiing until 15:00, then we will be transferred by gondola lifts (Telecabin) to Tochal parking, have dinner at a nice cozy restaurant in Tehran, overnight Tehran at the hotel.

Day 4          Dizin Ski Resort

Today after having an early breakfast at 7:00 we drive for about 2 hours to Dizin Ski Resort, the largest Iran ski resort, located in the Alborz mountain range, about 70km North from Tehran, we have breakfast at a restaurant on the way, then at 9:00 we can enjoy skiing until 16:00, then we drive to the hotel in Shemshak, have dinner, overnight hotel in Shemshak.

Day 5          Darbandsar Ski Resort

After having breakfast at the hotel, at 8:00 we drive to Darbandsar Ski Resort (approx. half an hour) we enjoy skiing in Darbandsar until 16:00 then we drive back to Tehran (approx. 2 hours), have dinner, overnight Tehran at the hotel.

Day 6          Tehran

After having breakfast at the hotel, at 9:00 we commence our day by visiting Golestan Palace (Qajar’s house), then will head to Tehran traditional Bazaar a must see of Tehran sights we will have lunch at one of the finest restaurants in Bazaar, then we go for Abgineh Museum of glass art, among the nicest museum in Tehran, next we go to walk on the Nature Bridge, a modern pedestrian bridge which connect the 2 main parks in the city center, have dinner, overnight Tehran hotel.

Day 7          Kashan

Kashan sightseeing; Today we start driving to Kashan early in the morning at 7:00 for about 3 hours, on the way we have breakfast, Kashan has so many traditional houses worthy to visit, we go directly to visit Abbasi house, then we head to visit Tabatabaei House, you can enjoy the great Islamic Iranian architecture in these houses, we will have lunch at traditional restaurant in Mozaffari house, having some rest we go to visit Fin Garden, the oldest extant garden in Iran, it contains Kashan’s famous Fin Bath in the evening we will visit Jame Mosque of Kashan, experience a live Islamic praying of local people, have dinner at a cozy restaurant close by and finish up Kashan tour, overnight a boutique hotel in Kashan.

Day 8           Abyaneh Village / MatinAbad Desert Camp

After having breakfast at the hotel at 9:00 we drive to visit Abyaneh Village, a really cozy village in the middle of a desert with a unique atmosphere, we spend our time exploring the village walking into the narrow alleys of Abyaneh Village, we have lunch at a local restaurant in Abyaneh, having some rest in the afternoon we continue driving for about 1 hour to Matinabad Desert camp, we can enjoy the eye-catching view of sunset in the desert, have dinner, overnight Matinabad desert camp.

Day 9          Matinabad Desert / Isfahan

Today we spend our time enjoying desert activities in Matinabad Desert. After having breakfast at the camp at 8:00 we go exploring the desert by light trekking, walking on the sand hills, do camel riding and a little off-roading in Matinabad Desert, have lunch at the camp, having some rest in the afternoon we leave the desert camp and continue driving to Isfahan (approx. 2 hours), have dinner, overnight Isfahan at the hotel.

Day 10          Isfahan

Today we visit the beautiful historical sites of the city as many as we can! After having breakfast at 9:00 we go to visit Naghsh-e Jahan Square, one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites includes Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque, Imam Mosque, Aliqapu Palace and so on, then we have lunch and get some rest, after that we go to visit Chehel Sotoun (means 40 columns in Persian), a pavilion in the middle of a park at the far end of a long pool, next we go to visit Si-o-se-Pol Bridge (means the bridge of 33 spans), one of the 11 bridges in the city and the longest of them with the length about 300 meters, then we go for dinner and visit Khaju Bridge described as the finest bridge in the province. Overnight Isfahan in the hotel.

Day 11          Isfahan

After having breakfast at the hotel, by 9:00 we go to walk around Isfahan Grand Bazaar aka Qeysarieh Bazaar, you can find variety of handicrafts and art works inside, afterwards we visit Jame’ Mosque located at the end of the Bazaar, we will have lunch at a restaurant close by; after that we’ll go to Jolfa famous for being the neighborhood of Armenian Christian minority of Isfahan, We will visit the Vank cathedral, the prominent site of this area, in the evening we get back to the hotel to rest and spend some time on your own, we will have dinner at a nice restaurant around the hotel, overnight Isfahan in the hotel.

Day 12          Persepolis / Pasargadae / Shiraz

After having breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 we start driving to Shiraz, on the way we visit Pasargadae then we drive to Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire also known as Takht-e Jamshid one of the most ancient cities in the world which dates back to 2500-3000 years ago, we have lunch at restaurant in Persepolis then we visit Naqsh-e Rostam Necropolis, in the evening we continue driving to Shiraz in the evening. We will arrive in Shiraz and have dinner, overnight Shiraz at the hotel.

Day 13          Shiraz

Shiraz sightseeing; After having breakfast at the hotel, by 9:00 we go to visit Nasirolmolk Mosque also known as the Pink Mosque which is really nice in the day mornig light, next we visit Vakil Complex built during Zand period including Vakil Mosque, traditional Bazaar, and traditional Bath, we have lunch then by noon and also some rest, then we go to visit Karimkhan Citadel, next will be Tomb of Saadi also known as Saadieh and Tomb of Hafez also known as Hafezieh having a brilliant agnostic atmosphere, after that we go to visit Qur’an Gate and also have dinner at a nice restaurant around it, overnight shiraz in a hotel.

Day 14          Tehran

We finally reach the last day of the tour, today we fly back to Tehran in the morning, depending on your departure flight time we would spend a couple of hours for sightseeing in Tehran and buying some souvenirs, then we head to IKA airport to catch our return flight back home and that’s the end of our journey.
